Being a bit more Open Minded

suddenly there has been a lot of hue and cry over BJP MP Ramesh Pokhriyal's statement that

"Power of stars in astrology can never be matched by science"

he has received the bashing from a wide section of media and politicians. while people at social media making sarcastic comments on his statement. 

Another person whose statements (rather theory) was taken with much amazement was Albert Einstein.

we may take his theory of relativity and the Equation of 'E=mC2' with great respect and consider it as the greatest discovery of all time, but at one point of time the theory seemed far less believable rather it was so complex that many scientists were not even able to understand what it implied. 

yet another person making similar insane remarks was Galileo, how dare he say that the 'Earth revolves around the Sun, and not the Sun revolves around the Earth'. consider yourself a member of the Divine Church during 17th century and think how outrageous that statement was.

I am not comparing Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal with these most respectable scientists of their time, I'm just stating that every good idea or thought is sometimes so difficult to understand or to digest that we simply reject it rather than truly giving it a thought. 

Also, I'm not saying that what he said was true, as the statement was not backed by any proof or research. 

but just wish to shade some light on one of our ancient science "The Astrology" which came into a bad light after the whole controversy. 

lets forget about astrology for a moment and think about the other things the vedic civilization has given us. 

1) The Decimal number system : the concept of Zero that has brought us so far in science was originated from the vedic civilization. 

2)  The Language: The Sanskrit is considered as the most scientific language (even by foreign scholars)

3) The Script: The Brahmi lipi , has been developed keeping in mind the way human mouth works, ie how we speak , so there is no need for a separate phonetics. what you say is what you write, there is no ambiguity in spoken word ( No is not know , and Now you know )

also in the so called "Universal Language" English, there is no word which has a sound of 'त' as in 'तलवार' it always roams around th ' द' or t 'ट'

seriously a whole sound is absent from a language, now that's pretty modern. 

4) The Yoga: The western civilization is appreciating and adopting it. it is considered as among the best methods to keep diseases (mental and physical ) at bay. 

so many good things from a civilization, and yet it is not respected from its own people sometimes. 

that too when the more 'Elite' west (as considered mostly in India) is appreciating our knowledge in so many fields like yoga and ayurveda, probably even the astrology would not have guessed it. 

so can't we for one in a million possibilities, consider that the science of astrology, as many of our ancient sciences  might have a concrete base on which it might have developed and have some level of truth in it.

and may be our modern science is yet to see astrology and other ancient sciences in a new light and yet to fully understand them. 

PS: I'm not regressive, just a bit more open minded 

Why Remain Civilised

Another Rape, and another one , and another one ...
it has become a routine now. and why wouldn't it become, when Our Chief ministers give the statements like "Ladko se galti ho jaati hai.. "
 I wonder when will these rapes stop and what will make them stop.
some times rules are not sufficient, some times you have to break the shackles of civilization, some times you have to be ruthless against these culprits.
The basic point is, culprits have no fear, what will happen to them, they will be sent to jail, will get a life term in which case the govt will take care of their food and shelter. even if they get death penalty it will take so long to implement that in appeals and re-appeals that justice would be delayed to the extent of denial.

The main purpose of convicting a person should be that others may not do that crime. but is that the case ?
there is a difference between being civilized and pretending to be civilized.
Our Human Rights organisations may make hue and cry over the extremist way of public hanging or hand butchering, but i feel these ways are much more effective in controlling and eradicating such kind of nuisance
And yes this should be public, coz every child should see that what might happen to him, if he dares to put hands on a girl. That Fear should be there, that image of the person hanging and those hand being butchered should be there in every person's mind when thinking evil.

But in today's age of pollution you may say that some skin nourishment is important, but for that nature has blessed us with immense amount of natural cleansers and skin nourishment products. Your skin should glow not with pale whiteness but with natural tone of your skin.

Rape

just heard the news of another rape in haryana. was shocked and terrified with the increasing number of such heinous crime in our ‘desha me desh’ haryana. Already facing with a skewed sex ratio of 830 girls for 1000 boys, such incidences will only severe the already reducing number of girls in state.if the state cannot ensure the safety of girls infanticides will increase, further deteriorating the situation. Already cases have been found where girls are sold from other states and brought to haryana for marriage.
I feel sorry to live in a society which thinks that the solution to this problem is early marriage, so that their children don’t stray. 

I wonder what the parents of a girl child think every day, ‘will she return back to home safely today or will her soul be torn off by some street dogs. ‘
I am sorry if i’m disrespecting any animal because even animals seek their partners’ permission before mating.
but some parents are too weak to live everyday like this and prefer sacrificing their daughter, the innocent one just to make their own life a bit easier in this world.
In NCR region, some self proclaimed moral authorities attributed rape cases with the way girls dress. I wonder what exhibition of skin was done by the girls wearing salwar kameez in the humble background of village.
why can’t we accept that those evil creatures don’t see anything else but lust in their eyes. And they do exist and exist amongst our own society. we may have reached the moon but we certainly aren’t civilised yet.

want to be a child again, when the life was simple. when the life was about which choclate to buy or which cartoon to watch or whether to study for the exam next day or play cricket with your mates in park. and you know what was the good thing about those days, I always chose to play cricket instead of studying and still managed to get decent grades because I was happy. That feeling of happiness gave me enough positive energy to do good in my exams too. as we grow old, things start becoming complex, in hiding your emotions in front of others you actually forget your true emotions. In completing other’s expectations we actually forget what we expect from ourselves. In short we become what others want us to be, forgetting who we actually are. May be that is the reason of my frustration, and writing about this seems to be a nice way to ventilate that frustration. 

I remember the days in our old home when I used to stand on a 4 inch thick wall and walk on it without caring that how much I’ll get hurt if I fall from it. but now I can’t do it. coz i’m too afraid of the consequences or the dangers it offers. and I’m forbidding myself from the feeling of adventure just because of a possibility of danger. This is called being grown up.that's it for now . tc.

The Criminal

‘I was in gynaecology ward and a case of complicated pregenancy came across me.
the lady had 6 child and was giving birth to the 7th one.
I talked to the father and said don’t you know that so many child births have detoriated your wife’s health. why don’t you use birth protection. His reply was that the children are gift of god. why should we stop that. I asked him that how he is going to feed one more child when he already has 6 children. His reply was both terrifying and dismal to me.

he said “madam i’ll make them criminal , for my whole life i was on the path of right doing but i got nothing in return. I’ll make them criminals and they themselves will find a way to get their food.’
this is what i heard from a doctor friend. The incidence was not so shocking for me.
it was as if was ready to hear that kind of thing. I have been mulling over the decline in moral values of our country. The increasing gap between rich and the poor, the rise of selfishness and greed, the failure of the education system to supply moral education, and the population all these can be held accountable for such kind of incidence. the basic need for a society to survive is humbleness and inclusion. An example of not so related but similar nature was visible in the occupy wall street protest, when people were showing their rage against the 1 % of the people who get the maximum of everything leaving others empty handed. 

The issue concerning India is of more serious nature. with less than 3 % of area of the world and about 17.5 % of world’s population. we are making a huge stress on our resources.
In metro cities it is nearly impossible for a middle class man to own a house.
even the flats are costing a few crores in some areas. Inflation is breaking new records,
the irony with inflation is that it hurts the poor the most. for us , we will reduce our one or two outings to ccd or dominoz . but the real victims are the poor who don’t get 3 meals in a day.
now if a person who hadn’t had a meal for a few days can snatch food from other’s hands.
you will put him in jail considering him the culprit. but in my view the real culprit is this society which created the circumstances for a person to commit such crime.
it is the society which chose rat race instead of holding back to it’s morals.
it is the society which didn’t chose the leaders to forsee such future and act accordingly.
it is the society which exploited the resources so that there’s so less of them left

The day was sunny, I was walking out of my office after a hectic day while talking about misery of life with my colleagues. I took a cigarette from the neighbouring panwala, gave him the money and put my purse back in the upper pocket of my jacket. suddenly I saw a familiar face. “Oh god that idiot again” I was thinking. suddenly he came in front of me , said “how dare you talk to my girl ….” , or some thing which i don’t remember exactly. then I heard a loud sound “bang ” ,

 I could see a bullet piercing through the air and into my heart. Now I could hear the loud sound of my heart, slowly fainting away.

I could see My whole life coming in front of me, the unfulfilled dreams, the uncompleted promises, the hope in my parents’ eyes, all so visible. and now there were tears in my eyes, not because of fear of death, cause I knew that death has to come, but why so soon. I haven’t lived my life the way I wanted to. I haven’t seen the places I wanted to. I haven’t rained happiness in my parent’s life and I haven’t found the love of my life all I did was talk to that pretty girl in the office. so why I’m dying so soon....

and then there was no bright light, neither did any angel came to take me to heaven, may be the devil will welcome me , while thinking this I just fainted.

when I woke up I was thinking about seeing crying people or burning heat of hell , but instead I saw my self in an ac room of a hospital with all my family standing outside my room. The doctor showed my purse with a big hole in it , saying,” this thing saved your life, the purse slowed the speed of bullet and it got stuck in your ribs. you will be ok in a few weeks max.... ”



and then my family entered in the room ma pa and sis all were crying .. no they weren’t crying because I was alive.. it was the tears of joy .. :) ..

I felt like I was reborn again .. a new life …. and surely a better life.

I decided that from now on I’ll live life the way I wanted to. I quit my job, had thought of opening a company on my own, so I invested some saved money , worked really hard and in a few years I was an established business man. also, I wanted to continue my passion for golf so I gave my time and concentration to it and I was now playing golf professionally. I was born in a middle class family all my parents and I wanted was to get a good job and a good homely girl. but now I had achieved much more than what I had even demanded just because of a bullet that couldn’t pierce my heart. that incidence changed my life or did I wanted a reason to change my life, well, confusing for me. With these thoughts I was sitting in my office and suddenly a person came and started hitting me. he said ” wake up you idiot you are so late for office the boss will screw you up today... ” I replied to him “what the hell, I’m the boss how dare you...”. and suddenly I open up my eyes, I’m in the same shared apartment with my friend

“was that all a dream” “No, it can’t be it was so real... ”

“just take you purse and mobile and get up ..” my friend said.

I looked at the purse, there was no hole in it. not even a tiny one. I was so missing that burned leather which saved and changed my life....

I came out and took my cab … and on the way, I was just thinking that do I really need that bullet, to change my life into the way I want it to be..…...

The Bitter Truths ... "Satya grah"

being born in a conservative Indian family has it’s own disadvantages, you are expected to follow somethings without questioning them. while most of the things are right some do have a few flaws.
I really admire gandhi ji’s work in india’s independence, the unification of motive that they gave to indian people was one of it’s kind. But when i see a few other future and concurrent events i tend to think that the role of gandhi ji and satyagrah in indian independence is exagrated.
Gandhi ji recieved most of his divine teachings from geeta, in which “अहिंसा परमो धर्म ” was the quote he devoted his life to. I refer to the same speaker of geeta shri krishna had to go against his principle of “अहिंसा” and killed the kaurvas for the sake of truth.
i refer to the independence of goa , the operation vijay. On December 16, 1961, Indian troops crossed the border into Goa. Code named 'Operation Vijay', the move involved sustained land, sea, and air strikes for more than 36 hours; it resulted in the unconditional surrender of Portuguese forces on 19 December. before that In 1955 a group of unarmed civilians, satyagrahis demonstrated against Portugal. At least 22 of them were killed by Portuguese gunfire.
Later the same year, the satyagrahis took over a fort at Tiracol and hoisted the Indian flag. They were driven away by the Portuguese, with a number of casualties. doesn’t it seem an irony, when the british people left India in 1947, Portugal still had very small areas under it’s command till 1961, also that satyagradhi’s were ‘killed ‘ by them. a mention that satyagrahis are unarmed and non-voilent is important here. either it shows the impotence of the people to fight for what is theirs’ or it’s the too much trust in gandhian way of independence, which ultimately failed.
another Revelation that occurred during the period was USA’s stance towards India, as it was about to pass a resolution in UN Security Council against India’s move , that might have resulted in unconditional revoking of the orders. but USSR used it’s veto power saying it was an independence movement and not a threat against any country’s sovereignty. and now The good relations between USA and India today are just because of India’s increasing influence in world economy and it’s strategic importance being a neighbour to china. having good terms with any country is not bad , but keeping an eye open is always suggested.

Oil-Exchange Rate- Economy

So what’s wrong.. Part I

India’s currency Re (sorry I still don’t have the symbol.) has been falling steadily. the current prices on 10 dec 2011 were 52.03950 Rs for 1 USD. Now a normal person will think that why I should be bothered about it. The people concerning with the Imports and Exports should think about it why should I. Remember it’s the same thinking by the rajwadas and local kings of ancient India that led the path to East India company to establish and conquer on Indian soil .
anyways getting back to the exchange rates of Rs we will discuss why it’s Rs is falling , what are the effects on Indian economy and the measures to rectify them.
Exchange Rates: in an open economy they depend on the delicate balance of Imports and Exports. The more you import the lesser value of your currency have.
Like for example in Afghanistan the value of their currency is very low as they have very low exports and high imports. and In UAE etc the prices of local currency are very high because of huge exports.
So is it good to have a high Exchange rate: the answer is NO, A big No for a country like India with a huge population, giving cheap labor to other countries, if the Exchange rate is too high then the IT sectors and BPOs would not make good profit resulting in job cut etc.

Then why not keep the Exchange rate very Low: for a normal country it is a very good measure to boost its exports and reduce its Imports thereby increasing its indigenous production a similar measure adopted by china. that’s why Chinese products are so cheap.
But, India has a special import … Oil.
that accounts for 28-30 % of its total imports.

Normally if the price of a commodity is increased, its demand decreases and equilibrium is reached. But Oil is an essential commodity, you cannot stop transportation or power generation (by diesel ofcos) so its demand is still high i.e. it’s consumption pattern does not show its true value. Adding to this is the govt. subsidy i.e. artificial lowering of price of petroleum products which further boosts the demand.
Then why not remove the subsidy completely: In present condition it will lead to huge inflation, as you might be experiencing to some extent.
So what to do:
Two simple lines
1) be Indian buy Indian.
2) Save oil.
1) I know the line is against globalization an blah blah … but this is what we need right now.
Lowering the imports will improve the exchange rates and will release the burden on Oil prices, and reduce the rate of inflation.
2) Ofcos saving oil will help us as we import more than 70 % of Oil from outside. That saved foreign currency can be used for importing more important commodities like high tech medical instruments, buying technical patents (technologies) etc, instead of burning in your vehicle’s exhaust. Also the subsidy paid the government on petro products may be used in building Medical Infrastructure which gets less than 2 % of our GDP.

No More abuse of power

Not just in today’s times, but we have seen from ages that power spoils people’s mind.
be it Napoleon, Hitler, jagangir , aurangzeb, sadam hussain and many of capitalistic nation’s emperors.
The abuse of power seems a subtle part of the Kings and other power full people.
There might have been another name added to this list had that person not realized his mistakes at the right time and taken the path of ‘Dharma’. king Ashoka, the name makes a completely different image in our mind. But remember he also abused power in the war of kalinga, just to satisfy his personal ego , thousands of men were killed. But he realized that the ego cannot be satisfied at any cost the more you feed it the more it demands, And then he lived like a life of Saint in the cloths of An Emperor.The later half of his life gives us an example regarding how our rulers or in modern terms our political leaders should be 'A saint in Emperor's cloths', A person calm from inside, who knows that the greed can never be satisfied, so he chooses the greed of making everyone happy. Another example was given by napoleon near his death bed , he said that when i die keep my palms open and visible so that the world can know that The world conqueror Napoleon is also going empty handed finally.

But this time may be 'our not so great' political leaders have forgotten what was taught in our history classes.
Let this be an Example to the world and Indian leaders that abuse of power will not be tolerated. The Government is made by the people , and if the people can make the government than they can destroy it too.The people of India have been silent for a long time , but they are not mute or blind. this time let us set an example that people forget the name of corruption for many generations to come.
The Recent happening of baba ramdev’s attempted arrest shows the atrocities of the government, and how much serious they are hide their black money away from the eyes of people . By hitting on small children and ladies and on unarmed satyagrahis they have shown that how much they are corrupt, and how much they are afraid by waking up of the great Indian middle class . Now this is not the time to back down or run away from their brutality, this is the time to fight for what is right and remove every single weed of corruption from our garden, from our India.

Dheeru bhai Ambani : his father scolded him saying that he can not do anything in his life , he used to fill petrol at pertol stations and now thousands of IITians and IIMians earn their lively hood because of him.

I don't understand the pressure that make a person prefer ending his life rather than looking for an alternative. But may be he did the right thing , if he could not face one small spike in his life i really don't think that he was ready to face the reality of this cruel world.

I wonder if any of the people shown below might had this kind of thought, we would never be able to witness their excellence today.

I have said that time and again that not every person is born to be an engineer or a doctor or a MBA graduate. Trust me these are among the most boring professions to have.

Given below are a few , who were not academically brilliant but reached the epitome of success just because of their never die attitude.

The Hazare Effect

I'm not going to talk about the same stuff, atleast when allot of people have been to jantar mantar or have supported the motion of Anna Hazare. But a question does comes to my mind, why ? why does a 73 year old person is doing all this, why ..?? when we all are spending our days easily in this corrupt world , why this old man who may not be able to relish the clean society that he is aiming for , is doing all this. 70 hours without eating anything... seriously this man is something.

and then I see my politicians , most of them 70+ age, live in large bungalows , ride in AC cars , get hefty money as salary and still are hungry to eat away thousands of crore rupees. I think they are planning to take away some of the money with them as travelers cheque to hell.

but the thing they don't know is the only thing that you can take away after your death is the blessings of people, which I'm sure Anna must be getting allot.

and then I see my youth ,who were too busy in their jobs and personal lives but finally took out time to listen to that old man. and realized the worth of this words and came in support of him.

today we may get the official notification the lokpal bill, but the task is not yet over. An old man has set the path for us , now it is upto us to walk on it and make India that swami vivekanand wished to see, that Gandhi ji wished to see and that Abdul kalam ji and Anna Hazare wish to see.

The road is full with vulture and is difficult to walk on , but the epiphany of destination will alleviate all the pain

F.A.L.T.U.

FALTU:: the not so faltu movie.

The day was fine and so was the weather, India had won the world cup and i was in a gud mood. so decided to watch a movie, the only one available was FALTU. The Idea seems to be copied from a hollywood movie Accepted aka S.H.I.T. but still conveys a good message if you are willing to hear that in the aura of the commercial cinema.

The movie talks about alternate education for the students with not so good grades giving them the opportunity to do what they actually like. I on the other hand extend the idea for the students with good grades i mean i extend it for every one. all of us hear the phrases like "you should do what you like " or "make your hobby your job " but most of us still end up in jobs that we actually don't like that much.

I remember a few people who took bold decision in their lives and turned out to be really successful, Dhirubhai ambani , sachin tendulkar both of them not educationally so brilliant but still a motivation for many iitians and iimians ...

I also remember a few from my personal life who have taken those bold steps and I'm willing to see them being successful in the near future. one is my college senior a great guitarist and singer, he threw away his IT career even after getting a degree from NIT which promised him a good salary to be a DJ and RJ which seemed to be quite a vulnerable career options at that time, but today he stand tall in 'Radio Mirchi' having his own show and playing with allot of big names in music industry. The second is a near and dear friend of mine, an underdog in studies , he always had different set of thoughts , after getting a degree of MBA he chose not to go through the conventional way , didn't sit in the campus interviews. But today with a published novel and 2 in making he has pretty much made his parents convinced that his decision was the right one.....

The Tipping Point

today is 1st march and the temperature is 11 degree here in rohtak. 11 degree celcius is a bit of low in the month of march. The state has recently received rainfalls a few days ago which is extending the winter season and spoiling the crops. Add the point that the rainfall had a quite odd timing.
also I remember the maximum temperature in july month last year went upto 52 degree, and not to forget the crying for shortage of water in the earlier months of the summer season and saving ourselves from the floods in the latter half.Last year the world received 21 storms and 12 hurricanes a bit higher than the normal. The summers are approaching , I’m not a weather scientist but i can correctly predict that they will be more hot and humid from last year. The weather extremes are touching new highs by each coming year. I wonder if we have reached a tipping point in our environmental equilibrium. These extreme weathers, odd rainfalls and small shifting of weather may be the symbol of the tipping point,

but the question is, are we really listening to the earth’s cry or we will be like an ostrich, who doesn’t really face the trouble but hides his face from it.

Are we ready to make a few compromises to see a better future for our children.

Are we ready to live in harmony with our own environment.

Improvise: The reason , The Need

I can explain the lives of 99.99 % people on this earth in one line, here it is....
born,studied really hard ,went to college,got a nice job or started a business,earned money (more or less that depends on a person's perception), had sex, had kids , raised kids , raised grand kids , died.
but these 99.99% people are of no or little use for human civilization. it's the rest .01% of people because of whom the human civilization still exist or may exist in future.these people also do the things mention above but in addition they do one more thing improvise, yes the most important thing for the survival and growth of human civilization. just imagine one day before you die; think about your past what value you have added to human civilization. of-course it's your choice to be the part of the 99.99% or .01 % because you have to die for sure.

The Weekend

We are busy in our offices on the weekdays...too busy to do anything else.
so we leave all the other important stuff like shopping and going for a mall, or having dinner with our boss's or colleague's family on weekend. Or in short we plan our weekend. but have you ever realized that it becomes a liability to do the things that we have planned. So this weekend i decided to do some thing different, i decided to spend some time with me. i went to a field nearby and clicked a few shots. neither i'm a professional photographer nor i wish to be. but i like it, and just did that coz it pleases me. so take out time some weekend just for you, just for you.... and do some thing that pleases you, not because it's cool or your friends/boss/colleagues/GFz/wife will like....

The moral highland

since the day I started earning one thing keeps coming in my mind, how much a person needs to life his life happily. I see corruptions of thousands of crores of rupees (earlier it used to be of crores of rupees but now I guess the term is small) and wonder when does the human mind satisfies, if it ever does.
I remember a citation of a former CVC chief that people want to be rich be it any way, the moral side never turns up. Why this thing keep on repeating again and again, the people we choose always turn out to be leeches, is it true democracy, or do we need another revolution.
How can true democracy be justified with some earning in crores and some not getting two times of meal? It’s a shame on part of our democrats.
The power and money both are again concentrating in hands of a few people. The number of scams are rising with such a rate that it’s becoming difficult to keep the track of it.

I wonder where our society lacked in putting that small seed of morality in our minds. We had a separate subject of moral science in our earlier classes. Maybe we need to give those books to our leaders, may be the book of Geeta can help them.
It’s time that the youth of India realize the need of a country where

Morality is more important than Money.
Being Right is more important than Being Successful.
This will only bring the peace and harmony in the society.


Is it becoming a bit too serious? Let’s make it simple and a bit lighter and add a spice of humor in it
It doesn’t feel nice to give lecture to 60 years old respected people but they tend to forget that their time is coming, 70 years, 80 years with the well wishes of people (which I don’t think they are getting) not more than 85 years, just imagine a politician A with a scam of say 1 thousand crores (a very nominal amount these days) and aged 65 years. With an interest rate of 10 % he will get 100 crores per year as interest. Considering life expectancy of 85 years he has 20 years left to live. Considering he wishes to spend 50 % in his life and leave 50 % for his children. So he has 100 + 25 crores rupees for each year. With 365 days a year he has to spent about 34 lac rupees each day (34, 24,657.53 Rupees to be Exact).
Now, a 60 years old person!! Seriously, imagine a 60 year old person and give him 34 lac rupees and tell him to spend it in a day and do it for 20 years of his life. You will start having sympathy with him.
But we forgot the perks that the politician will be getting,
The scams and the corruption will surface one day or another.
The dishonor, the humiliation for the person and his family is sufficient to ruin anyone’s life. His 60 years of name and respect all gone.
Those 60 years old politicians will not see that because the Ego, the “self” part is so much dominant in those people that they will never let the morality part take over their greed.
It has to be US, the youth of India who need to build a better nation, to build a better future for us, for our children. We should realize that money isn’t a human need it is to fulfill human needs and there is a limit to it.
It’s not easy but it’s not impossible either.

Diwali 2010

well i normally don't like to write bout my personal stuff but some days are nice..
and some are nice in a naughty way ,this diwali was kind of that naughty nice day.so i thought about sharing it....

earlier in the morning i was doing my morning shift , yes in office on diwali seems weird but hey, that’s my life. so i’m really pissed of by the fact the on diwali i’m doing morning duty and on next day too i’ll have to do the morning duty so i hardly had 24 hrs to go to home celebrate diwali and come back , take the nap for the few minutes i get , drive back to office and join my duties.
7’o clock a life ... no no day saving call comes from my colleague , he say that he’ll do the morning duty at the other panel so that the person doing duty there can come and do the duty at my place.
great news , rite , time 8 :30 am again in a happy mood doing breakfast of pao bhaji ...

i love that dish even if it’s from the pretty much sucked up canteen. suddenly i feel like i’m going to vomit, so i stop eating and took long breath to calm myself down.
then i stood up to walk a few steps to relax my self , as i walk a few steps my feet start trembling , i start feeling numb and catch a chair nearby to hold on to. i fell on the ground but manage to sit back on the chair , my colleagues rush towards me and hold me so that i do not fall again now i’m completely numb and my hand and feet are completely cold. they call the ambulance and i keep on muttering that i’ll be ok just give me a dose of ors . but they are all freaked out and keep calling for a vehicle to take me to the hospital.

we first go to the first aid center i ask for checking my bp , the doctor checks it and says it’s normal i said “what normal”,

he replied it’s “110 -80”.

“you idiot, that’s not normal for me my normal is 140-110”, (you idiot phrase was in my mind only).
then we rush to the hospital , everybody at the hospital had been informed about my arrival so they are all ready with there tools ,
i see my manager and Senior manager waiting for me at the hospital’s gate with 2 doctors and 3 nurse , i have had never received that kind of welcome ever.

so first they take some blood for some tests give me some pills and i’m the center of attraction in the hospital , not something that i wanted.

my senior manager is angry on the bell boy because he asked me to walk in the ward’s room cause of uneven flooring, i remember hearing similar kind of voice in office with me at the receiving end.

then the nurse asked my to remove my shirt, this was new to me i didn’t know that they had other methods to please the patients , but it turned out she just wanted to take my ECG.

there is one thing in hospital that i’ve always been afraid of , when a needle is stuck in your arm and some kind of water is poured in your body through that , wonder wat kind of disgusting method of feeding people is this , there is something called mouth made for that , not a needle strictly not a needle.
i asked no not just asked i begged the doctor to not to stick that thing in my hand but he was like all ready to screw me up , it’s bad feeling really bad.
any way, my manager and SM keep on asking my if i still wanna go to rohtak, and my answer was “no matter what i’m gonna go” . latter on my DM also came and we had a nice chat. my SM was asking me if i had some mental problem which caused me High BP i said , sir it’s just the changing time of sleep , otherwise do you think i can have such thing , with my dimples and a smile on my face , no one can know ..

after some time when everyone left i called up a fren ….ya fine my crush (happy now.)
coz she was having cough and talked bout her well being, irony na, an idiot admitted in a hospital asking her crush if she was ok, that talk really boosted my energy level.
anyways i had to reach home any how for diwali
So i ask my DM that i have to leave plz arrange for my discharge,
and thankfully i’m free to go at 12:30 they gave me a few medicines and finally the needle stuck in my hand was removed it actually pained more while taking out than when it was inside.
so i’m outside township now i could have managed an ambulance but prefer a lift. my DM also called for a cab or a driver who could drive my to home, but it was diwali an he got no response,
so i reached refinery took my car and drove all the way to home.
i have really nice feeling , with sister and mummy preparing diyas and papa with his gold chain (which i brought for him) , first went to meet some local frenz , so i’m sitting in the stadium with them smoking, while in the morning i had a complete bottle of saline solution (through the needle ofcourse) then went back to home for puja , this time it was a bit different , as i was also the earning member of the family i was feeling even nicer than the previous diwalis.
then went to meet a senior, wished him diwali , and had a nice chat with him and a junior friend too.
then went back to home and went to the shop with papa, prayed that everything turnout out to be well. and while coming back papa dropped me at medical more where my frenz were waiting for me , papa as you know enquired about what we people would be doing so late , i said “ya ya we are going to drink daru , see the theka is also open ” while pointing towards any open theka,
he thought my lines to be sarcastic and said ok ok but dun be late.
now can anyone plz tell my father that i don’t lie to him.
so i went to frenz car , there was half bottle left of vodka and they all were full so ofcoz i had to drink that half , i poured it in a bottle of sprite with very few sprite left in it.
and we went to the medical canteen.

there started fagging again and order for paranthas and a dal frai (dal frai is really gud with drinks) as i was smokin and drinking from the sprite’s bottle i remebered the morning , an i was saying to myself , “manu you are an ass, you are an ass ” and takin a sip from the bottle and a spoon of dal frai and then repeating again , then at about 12 : 30 we went to home and went to sleep. the day was diwali and i had a lot in the day, from getting ill to drinkin again , from evils fag to praying the god , it was different it may not seem so but it was different.

Reservation: A boon or a hindrance

reservation is a very good tool in democracy to motivate people mainly the minority groups or the underprivileged.
it was added in the indian democracy to uplift the poor and backward class in india at the time of independence and the earlier years after that.

let us just go into that time and analyse as a decision maker of that time. castism and communalism were very prominent at that time. the leaders of that time wanted to make sure an over all development of the nation in which no community is left behind.where riches don't get any benefit over poor. and the people of lower caste (as considered ) may not be blistered by people of supposedly higher castes. that is why they formulated a constitution which considers every person equal. but the situation of some communities were so dismal that they had to be provided with some special reservation just for the survival so that those communities could join hand in hand in nation's progress and enter into the mainstream. also it has been written in the same pages in constitution that after a certain period of time the benefit of these reservations may be reviewed and if it is found that the communities have been when adopted in main stream the special benefit given to them may be withdrawn as accordance with the constitution.

but these reviews are never done because of the cheap vote politics by the politicians. no party be it the one in power or in opposition because if they do so they will lose their vote bank.
I do not say that reservation is not important , it is very important to motivate the underprivileged for the one's who actually need it.

now the question is who actually need it. the answer may not be very simple to just divide people in religion or caste and decide that this and this caste needs reservation and this and this don't. may be i child of a rickshaw puller of a general caste may deserve some reservation owing to the fact that lack of money may not allow him to get to a good school or tution but a child of any IAS officer belonging some reserved caste may not need it because he'll be getting all the things he need to achieve success (be it a job or admission) , so if he can't get it i really don't think that he deserves any reservations at all.

now let us talk about the reservation about girls. well it is the mentality of most of the indian families (which is now changing fortunately) that why to spend so much amount of money on the study of the girl as she'll may and go to some other house. so parents may do some gender discrimination and spend more on the studies of the boy than the girl child. now if a girl utilizing much less resources that the boy child achieve say a little less child than him ,i think she deserves a little edge over the boy.

Introspection and the remedy for indian condition:
the reservation was much needed at the earlier days of our independence for the over all progress of our society if it had been executed properly. suppose a person belongs to the reserved class and gets a good job through that, assuming a gud job in officer grade in govt. he can provide all the necessities of life to his family. now technically he is not underprivileged neither his child will be , his child will get all the resources to study well and thus does not deserves the reservation and of course he'll be getting an edge over other children of his own community which may be deprived of the facilities. now this child will again make use of the reservation in getting admission and/or getting job so he is getting an unfair advantage not just over the children belong to the general category but to the children of his own community. and it becomes a cyclic process and the benefit of reservation is actually enjoyed by very few people of the reserved category who are already well established and never reaches the actual deprived ones. and this has resulted in a massive failure of the reservation system that even after 60 years it has not been able to serve it's purpose completely.

Human Devolution

The word may seem to be a little confusing, you might have heard about the words like evolution or revolution but what is this Devolution...??
"devolution", or backward evolution is the notion the species generally evolve into more "primitive" forms by losing adaptations no longer necessary in a new environment. According to this view, changes from one biome to another may usher in pressures to weed out an obsolete function which is no longer useful for survival after the transition.
So what do we mean by human devolution it must be something related to vestigial organs. No, this time we are talking about something big here. we are talking about losing the abilities that made us survive in this world.
In biology, evolution is change in the genetic material of a population of organisms from one generation to the next. Though the changes produced in any one generation are small, differences accumulate with each generation and can, over time, cause substantial changes in the organisms and this process is happening all the time. So what are the changes we are having, we don't feel like there is any change. just look at the lives from 70-80 years from now and you will see the difference, in life style, in working habits and many more. industrial revolution helped man a lot by making the life easier for man but it also made him lazy. The discoveries of new medicine helped in curing diseases but it also made our immune system weak. These are very few examples of Human Devolution, may not be biologically now but the forth coming generations may have to face more serious consequences.The diseases allowed only the individual with the best genes to survive so that the body could become more and more resistant to the microbes.

New infectious diseases are now emerging at an exceptional rate, scientists have told a leading conference in St Louis, US.
Humans are accumulating new pathogens at a rate of one per year. "This accumulation of new pathogens has been going on for millennia - this is how we acquired TB, malaria, smallpox," said Professor Mark Woolhouse, an epidemiologist at the University Of Edinburgh, UK.
"But at the moment, this accumulation does seem to be happening very fast.
"So it seems there is something special about modern times - these are good times for pathogens to be invading the human population." Professor Woolhouse has catalogued more than 1,400 different agents of disease in humans; and every year, scientists are discovering one or two new ones. Changes in land use through, for example, deforestation can bring humans into contact with new pathogens; and, likewise, agricultural changes, such as the use of exotic livestock. Other important drivers include global travel, global trade and hospitalisation.
Another reason may be the weakened natural immune system of humans. Most of us are addicted to the medicine even for a normal cold we go to a doctor and take a pack of tablets, also people are too afraid to bear even small amount of pain and opt for diclofenac medicines. Pathogens are evolving ways to combat our control methods but are we??

No certainly not we are becoming more and more dependent on the external artificial medicinal therapy instead of strengthening our own natural immune system , let's leave things related to medicines here and discuss about human life style. The life is much more easier now with very less work to do, but our muscles are made to do work if they won't they will lose there functions like vestigial organs did. these may not give any significant effect in the genes for now but after a few generations it may make an impression of weak bones and muscles in the genetic code. At that time we might be very strong with all the technology, but we would be very weak and helpless with out these things.
living in Air Conditioners and using cars and bikes very extensively may make our life easy but the future generations may be too weak to face the sun's heat or walk a few miles on a hot sunny afternoon. The chances of our survival depends on how much we can be strong by ourselves not with the use of external artificial means.
